Class: Goldfish Memory Shawl by Casapinka

Join Caroline for this shawl class that utilizes various techniques including slipped stitches, little garter stripes, bigger garter stripes, simple lace, stockinette stripes - that’s what you’ll find her!

This is a parallelogram and is knit on the bias. You need 3 skeins of fingering weight yarn, 400 yards each. I advise a very light skein, a bright or bolder skein, and something in between. If the colors are too similar the slipped stitches won’t show up.

This class meets Saturday January 18 & February 1, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Materials needed for this class include:

• US 5 (3.75mm) & US 6 (4.0mm) needles - or size needed to obtain gauge.  You might consider 47 to 60" circular or interchangeables.
• 3 skeins fingering weight yarn, as detailed above.  We would love to help you pick out some options, or grab some from your stash!  (yarn not included in the class cost).
• Pattern  (pattern is included in the class cost)

• scissors
• a yarn/tapestry needle
• a tape measure

There is an additional charge of $75.00 for yarn not purchased at The Blue Ewe.

Classes are non-refundable, so please check your calendar to make sure you can make each meeting.  If something comes up, you can check with us about a reschedule, but it is at our convenience and discretion, and the make-up class must be taken within 90 days, and contingent on the class being offered again in the future.
