Be sure to register online via theblueewe.com, at least 24 hours prior to the class starting. No walk-in students will be accepted. This allows us to have materials printed and prepared for you prior to your arrival, giving you the most time to get personal attention and learn in the shop before going home.
Knittergarten
Ready to finally learn to knit? This is where it starts. đź§¶
Our two-session Beginner Knitting Class is the perfect introduction to the craft. We’ll meet for two classes, spaced two weeks apart, giving you time in between to practice and make real progress on your project.
You’ll create a beautiful Knitting Sampler Scarf designed to build your skills step by step. Most students are able to complete their scarf within a week or two after the first class — yes, really!

Beginner Crochet
This is the class we have been waiting for: the MOST basic crochet class for the absolute novice. Join Kayla for this introductory class that will get you started. You will get a pattern handout sheet along with some individual attention to begin your journey.
Choose from a selection of Queensland Collection Coastal Cotton yarns and make a face or dish cloth.

Beginner Top Down Socks
Just about every sock knitter you meet will have a go-to “recipe” for knitting plain and simple socks. Mandy is here to not only teach you how to knit socks, but make your own pattern to better fit you.
These socks are knit cuff down and options for the heel and toe. If you’re new to knitting socks, this can sound intimidating. Fret not! Mandy will be on hand to walk you through the process step-by-step.Â

Beginner Drop Spindle Class
Have you ever wondered how a cloud of fiber becomes yarn? Join Amy for a fun and beginner-friendly introduction to spinning on a drop spindle! In this hands-on class, you'll learn the fundamentals of drafting fiber, adding twist, and creating your very own handspun yarn.
No prior spinning experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to discover the magic of making yarn with your own hands. By the end of class, you'll understand the basics of spindle spinning and be well on your way to creating your own unique handspun yarns.

Granny Square Bucket Hat Class
Flowers are in bloom on this cute crochet hat that comes together so easily! This Granny Square bucket hat is made by working motifs to form the sides, then attaching a top, and finally working a brim along the bottom edge.
Shake things up by swapping out colors to suit your tastes. It’s a fun pattern for working motifs, crocheting in the round, doing color changes, and practicing basic increase techniques.
This is a great hat for someone wanting to move on from the very basics (like a dish cloth or pot holder) and anyone who wants to learn about Granny Squares. Â

Intermediate Crochet Class
During this2-hour guided class, we’ll work through a fun project that helps you practice more advanced stitches, improve tension, and learn new techniques that will take your crochet to the next level.
Kayla provides step-by-step instruction while also giving you tips and tricks to make your projects look more polished and professional.
First Session - We look at doubles, half doubles, and foundation single crochet
Second Session - Introduction to Granny Squares.
