Ready to finally learn to knit? This is where it starts. 🧶
Our two-session Beginner Knitting Class is the perfect introduction to the craft. We’ll meet for two classes, spaced two weeks apart, giving you time in between to practice and make real progress on your project.
You’ll create a beautiful Knitting Sampler Scarf designed to build your skills step by step. Most students are able to complete their scarf within a week or two after the first class — yes, really!
Choose from a curated selection of cozy wool yarns and knit a scarf that features a variety of classic stitch patterns, including Garter Stitch, Stockinette Stitch, Basketweave, Seed Stitch, Smooth Sand Stitch, and Ribbing.
Along the way, you’ll learn the essential building blocks of knitting:Â
- How to Cast On
- The Basic Knit Stitch
- The Basic Purl Stitch
- Joining EndsÂ
- How to Bind Off
- How to Weave in Ends for a polished finish
By the end of this class, you won’t just “know how to knit” — you’ll understand how stitches work together, how patterns are built, and how to confidently start (and finish!) a project.
No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity — we’ll supply the encouragement, instruction, and plenty of yarny inspiration. ✨
Cost of the class includes:
- Pattern
- 1 Skein Jody Long Andeamo Lite your choice of in stock colors.
- US 8 (5mm) knitting needles
