• The pattern uses a log-cabin stripe layout and is created by weaving on a loom (2 shaft floor/table loom or rigid-heddle loom) rather than conventional knitting.

Needles / Tools Needed
This is a weaving kit—it is not a knitting kit—so you will need to supply your own loom tools.

• The pattern is designed for a 20″ rigid-heddle loom or a 2-shaft floor/table loom, with a draft included for a 4-shaft double-weave option. 

• Knitting needles are not required, unless you modify the design for knitting.

• As with all Appalachian Baby Design kits: needles, loom, heddle, or other finishing notions are not included—you’ll supply your weaving setup and finishing tools.
